What are GRI (Sustainability Reporting Guidelines)?

The Guidelines of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) are an international benchmark for reporting responsible business and sustainable development for companies.

The aim of the GRI Reporting Framework is to create a generally accepted framework for reporting economic, environmental and social aspects of the organization’s functioning; frameworks designed for use by organizations of any size, sector, and location.

They take into account the practical aspects of the functioning of a variety of organizations, from small companies to international organizations/enterprises conducting operations around the world.

In 2013, GRI published the latest and most complete G4 social reporting guidelines. This standard broadens the scope of social reporting in the area of engaging stakeholders in the process of creating a report, emphasizing the role of the value chain and selecting the content that should appear in the report in terms of its relevance.
