What was the topic of the plenary meeting of the Social Dialogue Council in February 2024?
On 15 February 2024, a plenary session of the Social Dialogue Council was held at the „Dialog” Social Partnership Centre. The meeting was chaired, for the first time in the new term of office of the government, by Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk – Chairwoman of the Social Dialogue Council, Minister of Family, Labour and Social Policy.
The meeting was also attended by Agnieszka Lenartowicz-Łysik, Representative of the President of the Republic of Poland; Dariusz Wieczorek, Minister of Science and Higher Education; Dariusz Klimczak, Minister of Infrastructure; Krzysztof Hetman, Minister of Development and Technology; Marzena Okła-Drewnowicz, Minister for Senior Policy; Katarzyna Kotula, Minister for Equality; Joanna Mucha, Secretary of State in the Ministry of National Education; Hanna Majszczyk, Secretary of State in the Ministry of Finance; Marcin Kulasek, Secretary of State in the Ministry of State Assets; Monika Sikora, Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy; Maciej Miłkowski, Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Health; Sebastian Gajewski, Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy; Grażyna Wereszczyńska, Deputy Director of the Office of Dialogue, Local Government and Development in the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland and Katarzyna Łażewska-Hrycko, Chief Labour Inspector.
The agenda included a presentation of the most important activities of the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy and a debate in this area.
Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk, Minister of Family, Labour and Social Policy, and Sebastian Gajewski, Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy, spoke on behalf of the government.
During the meeting, the Council adopted the following resolutions:
- Resolution No. 64 of the Social Dialogue Council of 15 February 2024 amending Resolution No. 63 of the Social Dialogue Council on the approval of the draft financial plan of the Council’s Office for 2024.
- Resolution No. 65 of the Social Dialogue Council of 15 February 2024 on the approval of the report on the implementation of the financial plan of the Council’s Office for 2023.
- Resolution No 66 of the Social Dialogue Council of 15 February 2024 approving the Council work programme for 2024
- Resolution No. 67 of the Social Dialogue Council of 15 February 2024 on the designation of the organisations, the employees’ and employers’ sides, the chairpersons of the social dialogue council’s problem teams.
- Resolution No. 127 of the Social Dialogue Council of 15 February 2024 on the implementation of information and educational activities by social partners in a non-competitive formula financed from the Technical Assistance for European Funds 2021-2027 Programme.
