What is the Social Reports competition?

In the Social Reports competition, prizes are awarded for the best prepared reports on corporate social responsibility. It is an initiative aimed at disseminating the idea of responsible business (CSR), sustainability, environmental protection and social engagement, aimed at companies and organizations publishing reports on their activities in these areas. The first edition of the competition took place in 2007. The project is organized by the Responsible Business Forum and Deloitte. Until 2014, the competition was co-organized by PwC and CSR Consulting, and in 2015 – SGS.

The main objective of the competition is to draw attention to the importance of non-financial reporting and to identify good practices in this regard. The initiative distinguishes companies that not only carry out their activities taking into account the interests of society and the environment, but are also able to present their achievements in clear, transparent and reliable manner in published reports. The competition contributes to increasing the transparency of the organisation’s activities and to engage in dialogue with stakeholders.

A record number of 56 publications took part in the last edition of the Social Reports Competition. It consists of, among others: 12 debuts, 15 integrated reports and 3 reports of NGOs. The results of the competition were announced on October 15,  2020  in online form.

The winners of the main prizes, as in the previous edition, were companies: LPP – the main prize for the integrated report, Santander Bank Polska – the best social report.
