What is the position of the Labor Protection Council on the personnel policy of the National Labor Inspectorate?

During the online meeting on July 20, 2021, members of the Labor Protection Council (ROP) declared their support for increasing the number of jobs at the National Labor Inspectorate. They also undertook to work out a written position on adjusting the salaries of the office employees.

– In the near future I will be applying for 60 new jobs in PIP nationwide – Katarzyna Łażewska-Hrycko, Chief Labor Inspector declared during the ROP meeting. – We need experienced, well-educated and well-paid engineering staff so that we can perform our statutory tasks in an optimal way. The more of us there will be, the more effective we will be – believes the head of PIP.

The ROP meeting was almost entirely devoted to the Chief Labor Inspector’s report on the activities of the National Labor Inspectorate in 2020 and the staff and payroll situation in the office. Members of the Labor Protection Council positively responded to the report on the activities of the National Labor Inspectorate in 2020, which – preceded by the foreword of Katarzyna Łażewska-Hrycko, Chief Labor Inspector – was presented by Deputy Chief Labor Inspector Jarosław Leśniewski and Dariusz Mińkowski.

The meeting, chaired by MP Janusz Śniadek, was dominated by the last-minute point: the human resources and payroll situation at the National Labor Inspectorate and problems with recruiting specialist staff. The topic was presented by Małgorzata Wysocka, director of the Human Resources and Training Department of GIP, and Grażyna Witkowska, director of the Budget and Finance Department of GIP.
