What is European Social Dialogue?
European social dialogue means discussions, consultations, negotiations and joint activities by the representative organizations of the European social partners. The development of this dialogue is closely related to the challenges facing states. member states as European integration deepens, in particular those related to the asymmetry between the pursuit of competitiveness and the limited ability to coordinate national social policies. European social dialogue is one of the pillars of the European social model. Based on the principles of solidarity, responsibility and participation, it is a form of European social partners influencing European social standards and playing an important role in managing the affairs of the European Union.
