What is Diversity IN Check?

Managing diversity, inclusion in the organization and striving to achieve social cohesion are aspects whose importance and role, apart from environmental issues, is still growing. The experience of the pandemic and the challenges of contemporary reality show that a well-used (managed) potential of diversity and inclusion strengthens innovation, contributes to better financial results and at the same time building social cohesion.

Diversity IN Check is a tool enabling the diagnosis of the level of employers’ maturity in the field of diversity management and building inclusive (inclusive) organizations.

The survey is carried out on the basis of a questionnaire made available to interested employers after signing an agreement with the Responsible Business Forum – the owner of the survey.

The survey questionnaire is based on internationally recognized standards and guidelines, including:

  • Sustainable Development Goals
  • ISO 26000
  • GRI Standards
  • OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises

The questions in the Diversity IN Check questionnaire are divided into five subject areas:

  • Management basics
  • Programs and activities
  • Building commitment
  • Result indicators
  • Additional COVID-19 related questions

To qualify for the Diversity IN Check – List of the most advanced employers in the field of diversity management and inclusion in Poland, it is necessary to obtain a certain number of points in the survey.

The Diversity IN Check is organized by the Responsible Business Forum, the coordinator of the Diversity Charter in Poland. It is the longest operating, since 2000, and the largest non-governmental organization in Poland, which deals with the concept of corporate social responsibility in a comprehensive manner. The Forum is an expert organization that remains the initiator and partner of key undertakings for Polish CSR. We inspire business that changes the world and connect people who change business. We act for sustainable development.

The Council of Experts and Experts supervises the substantive issues and the correctness of the verification process.
