What was the main theme of this year’s World Mental Health Day?

Annually, October 10 is World Mental Health Day. This year, the theme set by the World Federation of Mental Health is Mental Health for All. More investment – better access, and the goal – to increase awareness of mental health around the world and the need to increase spending in this area, especially during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. The coronavirus has changed the world of work, and as psychosocial risks and stress at work are among the most demanding health and safety issues, the pandemic has had a significant impact on people’s health, the health of organizations and national economies. This challenge can only be overcome by working together to promote mental health in workplaces across the EU: the aim is not only to protect workers’ mental (and physical) health and well-being, but also to influence the performance of companies by these factors.
